Antony
The lead founder and windsurfing guru, he’s still involved in the business but now often found on his adventure bikes. His extensive equipment knowledge is being passed down to the next generation, ensuring it lives on.
Liesa
Head of the school and admin team, Liesa studied tourism in Switzerland and recently returned to support the family business. She’s still exploring to find her favourite water sport.
School Management
Anastasia
Ana co-owns the kiteschool with her partner Byron and has been part of the Cape Sports Center team since 2019. Passionate about watersports, especially wingfoiling and kitesurfing, she also runs WindSailSolutions, a dedicated repair service in Langebaan. During the European summer, she works at the Repair Center at Core N More in the Netherlands. Together with Byron and their daughter Nakisa, she continues to pursue her passion for Watersports both professionally and personally.
Raymond
Raymond leads the windsurfing side and is also a winging pro. A pioneer in windsurfing, kitesurfing, and winging, Ray even crafts his own kite and wing boards under the Long Ocean Boards brand.
Paulos
Paulos is our right-hand man, overseeing repairs and maintenance. After 10 years with us, he’s gained extensive knowledge of all our equipment.
Instructors
Byron
Byron, co-owner of the kitesurfing and wingfoiling school, brings a deep passion for both sports and a love for teaching. Known for his fun-loving spirit and infectious laughter, he creates an inviting and energetic environment for students. His dedication to the sport shines through his commitment to helping others succeed, whether they’re beginners or honing advanced skills. Together with Anastasia, Byron enthusiastically shares his love for water sports with the community.
Dudley
Meet Dudley, your go-to expert for downwinders! As the owner and head instructor of the Downwinders section, Dudley brings years of experience to the table as a professional BKSA kite instructor and skilled big-air kiteboarder and wave rider. With his extensive teaching background, you’ll be in great hands as you soar along the Langebaan lagoon.
Alessa
Alessa managed our Shark Bay station this season and is a passionate kitesurfer, heading on tour in Europe this summer. She’ll also be overseeing our Instagram account and serves as our multimedia marketing consultant.
Paul & Chad
Paul (right) is our resident kite and surfing instructor. In just three years, he progressed from beginner to a fully qualified IKO instructor. His younger brother Chad (left) is following closely in his footsteps; for now, he serves as our surfing instructor but is on track to join Paul as a kite instructor soon.
Yann
Meet Yann—the go-to person for all your questions and requests. Of Swiss nationality, Yann brings the dedication and work ethic that Switzerland is known for. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, he manages our front desk while also actively participating in water sports. You’ll often see him on the water, doing what we all love most.
