Welcome to our stunning blue Langebaan Lagoon, a premier destination for kiting, winging and windsurfing.
Explore it from a different angle on our world-class downwinders, taking you from Shark Bay to North Beach and finishing almost right in front of our watersports centre. We take care of timing, safety and drop-off; you focus on enjoying the ride and gaining a deeper appreciation of the lagoon’s vast beauty. Along the way, soak up enchanting Western Cape views, abundant bird and marine life, and pristine waters shared with like-minded riders.
With incredible wind conditions, diverse riding options, expert guidance and local insight, our hassle-free downwinders leave you feeling exhilarated, accomplished and hungry for the next session.

Who it’s for
Advanced riders who can ride upwind, handle transitions and feel comfortable in open water. We only plan downwinders when conditions look right.

Logistics Note: If there is not enough wind at Shark Bay at the planned start time, we will relocate the session to Main Beach and run a coastal session around the island, ending back at Main Beach. No refunds apply in this case, as this depends on natural conditions beyond our control.
